Properties:
Sulphur hexafluoride is colorless, non-toxic, odorless, non-combustible and non-corrosive gas in normal conditions; good chemical stability; m.p. -50.8°C, b.p..
Use:
Sulphur hexafluoride is an excellent inert insulating gas widely used in high-voltage electric equipments ， ground cables, gases insulation for electronic equipments, radar, particle accelerator, transformer, lightning arresters, refrigerant etc. It is the third insulation and refrigeration medium for electronic industry after air and oil .
Storage: In cool, and ventilated storeshouse.
Transport:
With symbols indicated in GB19-73. The coefficient of the filling cylinders should not higher than 1.33kg/L.
Packing:
In seamless steel cylinder (40L, 12.5L, 10L, 8L, 4L) (Normally, when the pressure is 15MPa, the filling coefficient＜ 13.7kg/L.. )
